Falls of Falloch

Powerful waterfall framed by woodland, offering one of the most rewarding and accessible natural stops on the route.

The Falls of Falloch are among the most dramatic roadside waterfalls on the WC300, combining raw Highland energy with surprising ease of access. A short woodland walk leads to elevated viewpoints overlooking fast-flowing cascades as the River Falloch funnels through rocky channels below. It’s a place where the scale and sound of the landscape are immediately felt, making it an ideal pause to break up the drive and reconnect with the scenery.

Equally suited to a quick stop or a slower wander, the falls deliver strong visual impact year-round, particularly after rain, and offer one of those classic West Coast moments that feels wild without requiring a long detour or hike.

Good to know: Limited parking; take care near fast-flowing water.
