Time and Space 3 Nights 2027

A three-night reflective retreat at Iona Abbey, bringing together worship, guided reflections, shared meals and time to rest or explore the Isle of Iona’s wild landscape.

Saturday, 20 March 2027 – Tuesday, 23 March 2027 · 4.00pm – 9.00am

About

Time and Space brings guests into the shared rhythm of life at Iona Abbey, with worship, conversation and guided reflections forming part of the stay. It is led by members of the Iona Abbey team, who guide the community’s worship and shared activities.

Days follow a gentle pattern of work, rest and worship. Guests can join small-group conversations, guided reflections and the weekly pilgrimage, with time set aside to walk, pray, rest or explore Iona’s wild landscape. Worship in the Abbey Church is central to the daily programme.

This is a community retreat, so guests share meals in the refectory and take part in simple shared tasks alongside others staying at the Abbey. Accommodation is in one of 21 guest rooms, including single, twin, triple and family rooms. Those travelling alone may be asked to share a room.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included each day, alongside programme sessions, guided walks and music, art and craft opportunities. The March 2027 programme runs from 4pm on 20 March until 9am on 23 March.
