About WC300
WC300 is a route-first travel platform built around the WC300 Core Route and the optional WC300+ Extensions.
The WC300 Core Route begins and ends at Balloch. WC300+ Extensions are optional journeys that may be woven into the core journey but are not required to complete it.
The site provides editorial route information, place listings, travel inspiration, advertising features, membership features and other related content.
Use of the website
You may use the website for lawful personal, travel-planning, editorial, membership or advertiser-related purposes.
You must not misuse the website, interfere with its operation, attempt to gain unauthorised access, scrape content at scale, or use the site in a way that may damage WC300 or other users.
Route information and travel responsibility
WC300 route content is provided for guidance only. Conditions may change quickly, especially in remote and coastal areas.
You remain responsible for checking road conditions, ferry times, weather warnings, opening hours, access restrictions, parking rules and local safety information before travelling.
No WC300 route description, map, listing or recommendation should be treated as a guarantee that a road, ferry, business, attraction or service will be available at the time you travel.
Content accuracy
We aim to keep WC300 accurate, useful and current, but we cannot guarantee that every detail will be complete, error-free or up to date.
Businesses, attractions, ferries, accommodation providers and other third parties may change their services without notice.
Where an error is reported, we may review and update the relevant page at our discretion.
Accounts and memberships
Some WC300 features may require an account or paid membership.
You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity carried out through your account.
Member-only content is for the account holder’s personal use and must not be copied, redistributed or made public without permission.
Third-party links and services
WC300 may link to third-party websites, booking platforms, maps, ferry operators, advertisers, accommodation providers and other services.
Those third-party services are not controlled by WC300 and may have their own terms, privacy policies, pricing and availability.
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability where it cannot legally be excluded.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, WC300 is not responsible for losses arising from reliance on route information, changes to third-party services, travel disruption, weather, road conditions, ferry disruption, business closure or user-submitted information.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time as WC300 develops.
The latest version will be shown on this page with the date of the most recent update.
