About
Time and Space 2027 is a six-night stay shaped by the daily life of Iona Abbey. Led by members of the Abbey team, it brings together worship, conversation, guided reflections and opportunities for quiet time.
Each day follows a gentle pattern of work, rest and worship. Guests can join small-group conversations, take part in the weekly pilgrimage and spend time walking, praying or simply being on the island. Worship in the Abbey Church sits at the heart of the programme.
The experience is shared as well as reflective. Guests eat together in the refectory and help with simple tasks, creating a rhythm of community life alongside personal space. The stay includes accommodation at the Abbey, all meals, programme sessions, guided walks, and music, art and craft opportunities.
Set on the Isle of Iona, the retreat allows time to explore the island’s wild landscape or step back from everyday routines. It is suited to those seeking rest, reflection and a Christian pilgrimage experience rooted in shared community.
